Serving as a Legislative Page at the Ontario Legislative Assembly gave me a close look at how public service works. It showed me that important work depends on preparation, teamwork, respect, and the ability to pay attention to details. Being part of that environment helped me understand how many people contribute behind the scenes to keep a large institution moving. I learned to be dependable, organised, and ready to support the people around me. The experience also made me more curious about how decisions affect communities and why clear communication matters. It was meaningful to take part in a place where ideas are discussed seriously and where service is connected to real people across Ontario. I carry those lessons with me when I work on school projects, learn to code, or take on a challenge in chess.
